The Monroe County Health Department is currently offering vaccines at a discounted rate, as part of the Kentucky Department for Public Health’s state initiative to enhance adult vaccination. We are offering these “catch up” vaccines at a discounted rate to adults who are uninsured (no insurance) or underinsured (insurance does not cover vaccines).
Vaccines available in this program help to protect against the following vaccine preventable diseases: Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Chickenpox, Meningitis, Human Papillomavirus (HPV), Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis (“Whooping Cough”), Pneumonia, Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR), and Shingles.
Vaccines help prevent many serious diseases and thus, improve the health and well-being of our community.
